The size of the E1250 is only slightly larger than a credit card, its thickness is only about 2 cm. The camera's small body is made from plastic with metal polish or better known as brushed aluminum. The buttons on the E1250 (including zoom lever), fairly easy to use and respond to commands properly despite used by large fingers. Besides Smart Scene, E1250 also has SSF (Super Shake-Free) feature in anticipate hand-shaking when taking pictures. The mechanism is raising sensitivifity (ISO) and shutter speed. Unfortunately this technique is not as good as mechanical based stabilizer (on the lens or sensor). This is because the method of using high ISO on SSF affected on the declining quality of the picture.
When at outdoors or get enough light, E1250 is able to produce good images. But will be different when it comes to dim conditions, noise begins to appear and quite disturbing. E1250 Flash is enough to help users to take pictures in conditions like this.
In general, the picture quality resulted by this little camera is pretty good.
