Pentax Q, Compact Camera with DSLR Capability

Pentax Q comes as the smallest and lightest at interchangeable lens camera class. The camera has dimension of 31 mm in width, 57.5 mm in height and only 98 mm in length, and with weigh only 200 grams. Pentax Q comes with smaller sensor, but capable to produce 12.4 megapixel images by using 1/2 sensor, 3 inch CMOS. The camera is also capable to shoot in RAW format and editing the images directly from the camera through SILKYPIX program. In addition, this camera is also equipped with Shift Share Reduction Sensor, so users will still able to produce sharp images even in moving condition.

Q Pentax is also equipped with a variety of lenses that are tailored to the needs of users, such as standard prime lens, standard zoom lens, and also there are 3 choices of fish-eye lens, toy wide lens, and toy telephoto lenses.

Its operation is similar to the menu structure on DSLR cameras. Of course, some modes such as Program (P), Aperture Priority (Av), Shutter Piority (Tv) and Manual (M) also present at Pentax Q camera. For durability, the body of Pentax Q covered with magnesium alloy on the front side, rear and top side which provides durability in the hands of the photographer.

Pentax Q ease to use by using 3-inch TFT color screen HVGA 460 k pixels resolution. It is also equipped with integrated flash that can be kept out from the lens on the camera side, which would enhance the image results.

Another feature owned by Pentax Q is TTL Contrast Detection AF, ISO 125-6400, an external P-TTL hotshoe, hi-speed USB 2.0, AV port, HDMI  port type D micro, and 1080p HD video recording capabilities. Another capability that is also interesting is up to 5 frames per second recording speed, and it provides media storage with SD, SDHC and SDXC.
