Samsung ST100, Fun Photography with DualView

Continuing camera series with dual LCD screens, Samsung presents  ST100 and ST600 model with additional improvements. Both are offering  14 megapixels maximum resolution and unique DualView LCD feature. This feature will make easy personal photo shoot. ST100 Series is an entry level series, with the lens in the body makes the camera look slim. While ST600 has advantages which are wider angle lens and more complete manual settings.

Dual LCD innovation is exciting, because it allows users shoot themselves easily with predictable results. When the camera is faced to the user face itself, the user simply tapping a small screen 1.8 "in front of the camera to display the preview of his face. This method will minimize the lack of photo focus or error position/area which usually occurs on regular camera. The principle of photo sessions just like photographs with a dual camera phone(front and back).

Compared to the previous series (ST50), ST100 may seem little thicker. But we recognize that there are many improvements here. Some previous features are also still available such as a touch screen that minimizes the access button on the camera body, comfortable gesture navigation style like rotate or select photos, and photography support technologies such as face detection and filter to make creative images.

Especially for shooting that use front screen, ST100 provides shortcut buttons at the top F.LCD. When this button is activated, the main screen (rear) will bring up options to ease photographing user itself, children, spouse, with specific cue.

As other compact cameras, ST100 superior in terms of practical usability. Some disadvantages ranging from a slippery grip, image stabilization is less than optimal, or disturbing noise at high ISO is still felt. But we think the advantages far more attractive than the existing deficiencies.
